A major part of any outfit is the accessories. I am including my essential jewelry items in this. What you add and how many you add says a lot about your outfit and your style. Personally I add around three accessories to complete an outfit. This means usually a bag of some sort, a piece of jewelry and maybe another piece of jewelry, a scarf/hat or a hair bow. It really depends on what is on the agenda for the day.
Tote bag: Thus is definitely an essential for work or school because they hold a lot more than other pocket books. Because I use them so much I have neutrals so the go with everything. My go to right now is a black scalloped Kate Spade. I also have a brown/beige on that is great as well. Longchamps are a popular option.

Crossbody: This is a must for everyone. When I don’t need to carry my computer I almost always use a crossbody. Here are some good options

Bow: A bow hair accessory is an easy way to class up any outfit. If you aren’t into bows any ribbon hair accessory will do the trick.

Pearl earrings: I recommend having both a pair of pearl studs and a pair of pearl drop earrings. That makes it easier to change it up. Pearls are very simple yet classic and beautiful.

Gold bracelet: This is one you might not expect but I think having a nice gold bangle can be a great, easy addition to an outfit. The one I have was my grandmothers but here are some great options.

Necklaces (pearls): I love having several pearl necklaces around, ready to wear. They go with pretty much everything and look fantastic. I actually prefer to vintage shop for pearls because I have found really beautiful ones for pretty cheap. I do think though that KJP and Kate Spade have some great options.

Sunglasses: This is a must for both eye protection and style. However, I undoubtedly believe that there is no one style everyone should own. That is because different styles look better than others on different face shapes.

Hats: This definitely sounds vague. I recommending having at least one warm winter hat and one ‘sun’ hat. Both of which should be styles/patterns you love and will wear a lot. The winter had is necessary for warmth but can also be a great fashion statement. Having a brimmed ‘sun’ hat is great because it really brings up an entire outfit. I always get lots of complements when I’ve added a great hat.

Scarves: I throw a scarf on when its really cold outside. My favorites are definitely plaid ones but there are so many great options!

Watches: I am on the hunt right now for a great, classic watch that will go with pretty much everything. Let me know if you have favorites! I found a couple good options but would love recommendations.

Belts: Such a necessity! This one is definitely a given and I have found the greatest, classy options. I chose mostly classic belts to go with jeans but there are some fun ones out there for around the waist as well.
